We urge everyone, regardless of partisan coloring, to participate in tomorrow's "Outcry from the People" march in Taipei sponsored by the Taiwan Society and other civic groups and take the first step to launch a new citizen movement to monitor the KMT government and save our economy, protect our sovereignty and gain sunshine politics.
Why?
The KMT now completely controls the Executive, Legislative, Control and Examination branches of government and, from the manner in which the Chen "offshore accounts transfer case" is being manipulated, intends to direct the work of the judiciary as well.
Finally,
The only recourse for Taiwan citizens who want a prosperous economy based on our needs and values and the right to make our own decisions on Taiwan's future is to display the genuine "Taiwan Spirit" of Su Li-wen, get off the mat and take the first step toward the construction of a bottom-up citizen movement to defend our democratic, human, social and economic rights by marching in Taipei tomorrow.
